We are the AAR.
We support each other.

 

The AAR is a member organization run by and for our members.

Our membership dues and conference registrations provide most of the revenue that ensures AAR can continue to offer programming, publications, and grants.  In order to provide a lasting foundation for AAR’s work, we ask for your support.

AAR played a significant role in my academic experience and specialization in "Religion and Art." From my first AAR in 1978, I watched both the organization and "R&A" flourish.  Beyond a vibrant networking center, I have found the Annual Meetings  to be a magical place to expand my thinking, to acquire new conversation partners, and to promote "Religion and the Arts." As a result, I was inspired to fund a regular award and establish a travel grant for others to be able to become involved in the world of scholarship, collegiality, and conversations that AAR offered to me. I was privileged to also be able to create several legacies to ensure that those possibilities extend beyond my life into generations to come.
