Tamisha Tyler
Tamisha A. Tyler (she/her/hers) is a visiting assistant professor of Theology and Culture, and Theopoetics at Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, Indiana. She also serves as a Theologian in Residence at The Center for Restorative Justice in Pasadena, CA, and is part of the Level Ground Artist Collective in Los Angeles, CA. Her current research explores religion in the literary world of Octavia Butler. Tyler is a member of AAR’s Academic Labor and Contingent Faculty Committee which advocates cultural and structural change to ensure just work conditions, pay, and collective bargaining rights for contingent faculty in order to foster equity, labor justice, and the common good in the Academy.
