Jacob Robinson has served as Senior Program Coordinator with the AAR since 2022. He received his PhD from Vanderbilt University in Ethics and Society. As a religious ethicist his research interests include the scholarship of Howard Thurman and the development of theories and strategies to use religion to help bridge the gaps between separated groups of people. Dr. Robinson was previously a professor at Northern Seminary in Chicago and taught various courses including Christian Ethics, Theology, and Church History. Beyond the academy, he has also been active in various social justice projects throughout the country including directing an Adult Literacy Program in inner-city Chicago and doing construction ministry in Mexico, Louisville, and New Orleans. Jacob lives in Colorado and is an avid cyclist and enjoys the wide variety of outdoor activities that Colorado provides.
