We are asking scholars, practitioners, and community partners to contribute to a collaborative initiative by the American Academy of Religion and the American Council of Learned Societies to document public scholarship on religion in North America: The Publicly Engaged Religion Mapping Project.

Supported by the Henry Luce Foundation, this project gathers projects, case studies, and reflective essays to build a dynamic, searchable database that highlights the scope and impact of public scholarship on religion. We are particularly interested in projects that include themes of public scholarship as outlined in the AAR Guidelines for Supporting and Evaluating Public Scholarship in Religion.

By sharing information about your work through the project survey,  you will help strengthen connections across the field, increase the visibility of engaged projects, and contribute to national conversations about best practices in public scholarship. The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.
