The Judith Plaskow Travel Grant
2025 Recipient

Emma Ceruti, University of Toronto, Emmanuel College

Funded in honor of the former AAR president’s influential work in Jewish feminism and Plaskow’s enduring legacy in feminist approaches to the study of religion, the Judith Plaskow Travel Grant is awarded annually to a student or independent scholar who is scheduled to present a paper centrally informed by and/or contributing to feminist approaches to the study of religion at the November Annual Meeting.

2025 Recipient

Nathan Samayo, Princeton Theological Seminary

Funded through the generosity of Diane Apostolos-Cappadona, the Religion and the Arts Travel Grant is awarded annually to a graduate student studying religion and the arts who is without institutional support to attend the November Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting Travel Grant

The Annual Meeting Travel Grant program awards 25 grants on a competitive basis to members who participate in the November Annual Meeting.
