About the Event

Hosted by AAR’s Teaching & Learning Committee

Join us for a pedagogy workshop hosted by AAR’s 2026 Katie Geneva Cannon Excellence in Teaching Award Winner, Emily Bailey. Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing how students write, research, and engage with course material. Instructors of religion are navigating new questions about assignment design and how to cultivate genuine inquiry in an AI-saturated learning environment. What does it look like to teach religion well when students have instant access to AI-generated answers? Join us for a practical conversation about adapting pedagogy to meet this critical moment in higher education.
