About the Event
Hosted by AAR’s Academic Relations Committee (ARC)
In this webinAAR, hear about the efforts of scholars at the University of Northern Iowa to strengthen the future of the humanities on their campus. From their self-initiated plans to merge their philosophy, religion, and history units; to their successful Mellon Foundation grant application to establish a Humanities Hub on their campus, learn how they creatively strategized with colleagues, both within and outside their departments.
This is another webinAAR in a series of Academic Relations Committee (ARC) remote sessions that are offered each month; all of these meetings tackle topics of direct relevance to the success of a department and each session is recorded and posted on the committee’s page at the AAR site.
