Chief Regional Officer
Serves a three-year term.
May be re-elected to serve an additional three-year term.
The Chief Regional Officer serves as the chief executive officer and liaison between the Regional Group and AAR, and is a member of the AAR Regional Council. The Chief Regional Officer is responsible for carrying out the routine managerial functions, financial management, and general operations for the region.
Student Director
Serves a two-year term.
May serve a third year when the Board determines it is appropriate.
The Student Director must be a student enrolled at a college or university within the region at the time of election. The Student Director is responsible for leading program development for students, representing student interest on the regional board, and facilitating communication with students in the region.
President-Elect
Serves a one-year term.
The President-Elect will succeed to the position of President without additional elections.
The President-Elect carries out special projects as requested by the President, and performs the duties of the President in the President’s absence. The President-Elect is responsible for leading program development for the region.
President
Serves a one-year term.
The President facilitates the board meetings, and is responsible for leading goal and objective-setting for the board.
