CFP: DynaRel Annual International Conference 2027 “Neighboring Textual and Intellectual Traditions: Dialogues – Polemics – Translations”

The LOEWE Centre Dynamics of Religion (DynaRel) at Goethe University Frankfurt invites proposals for its first international annual conference, “Neighboring Textual and Intellectual Traditions: Dialogues, Polemics, and Translations,” taking place 1–3 February 2027. The conference examines textual and intellectual relationships between Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions from Late Antiquity to the present, focusing on dialogue, polemics, translation, exchange, reception, appropriation, transformation, and demarcation. Early-career and established scholars are welcome. Please submit an abstract of up to 300 words and a brief biography of up to 100 words to schwarz.s@em.uni-frankfurt.de by 31 August 2026.
