The Center for Asian American Religion, Theology, and Culture invites educators, ministers, and activists to apply for its 2026 annual workshop, taking place January 7–8, 2027, at Greensboro College in North Carolina. Supported by the Reynolds Ministry Grant Fund (Wesleyan Foundation/Western NC Conference of the UMC) and featuring Dr. Sujin Pak (Dean of the Boston University School of Theology) as the keynote speaker, this two-day program offers a space to share lived experiences, explore innovative pedagogical strategies through case scenarios, and build a powerful local community.
The workshop is open to individuals over 18 currently working in education, ministry, or activism—who are passionate about integrating Asian American identities into their professional or community settings. To support your participation, all venues, meals, and refreshments are provided, alongside a travel and lodging stipend ranging from $200 to $500 based on your location. Applications are officially open from May 17th through August 9th, 2026.
