Academic Labor and Contingent Faculty Committee Luncheon with Open Conversation

Anyone interested in academic labor is welcome to join. This annual gathering and business meeting brings together those concerned about changes in academic labor for discussion and a place to brainstorm ways to advocate and support contingent faculty and sustainable employment for all faculty. There will be discussion tables on various topics, including the gig economy, contingent faculty scholarship, publishing, burnout, best practices, and more.
Mentoring Lunch for Women and Gender-Minoritized People

All participants impacted by womanhood through embodiment and/or gender presentation, including transgender and nonbinary people are invited to a luncheon with womanist, feminist, and LGBTIQ mid-career and senior scholars. Informative table topics will be led by industry experts.
Persons with Disability Open Conversation Luncheon

This luncheon will offer opportunities for mentoring and informal connections with colleagues for scholars and students with disabilities, as well as anyone interested in disability issues in the Academy.
Ticked lunches cost $20. They require pre-registration as there is limited seating and they will sell out. You can secure your spot by adding them to your registration either during the registration process or (if you already registered) through the modify registration link found in your registration confirmation email.
