The Annual Meetings 2023 is committed to creating an event experience where all of our participants, partners, publishers, staff, and volunteers can safely and effectively conduct business, network, and learn. We share these protocols with our attendees in mind, including those who are immunocompromised, children, and the many workers who help to make this conference happen as we create community together in San Antonio. The Annual Meetings 2023 will follow current CDC guidelines at the time of the meeting and any applicable protocols required by our venues, state, and local governments.
AAR strongly encourages members of our community to test and be fully vaccinated prior to traveling. With our most vulnerable community members in mind, we urge everyone to remain safe and healthy. Please do not attend the meeting or, if on site, remain in your hotel room if you feel sick or are showing any symptoms, and make note of local care option
The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is committed to the health and safety of our guests, employees, and partners, and they continue with many protocols established over the last few years to ensure the facility is clean and safe.
Clean Hands: Hand Sanitizers will be placed in all public spaces, meeting room corridors, show floor areas and food and beverage areas. Participants are encouraged to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.
Masks/Face Coverings: The AAR strongly encourages wearing a mask throughout the conference but particularly in crowded areas. We want everyone in our community to feel comfortable and safe. We encourage you to bring your own masks. A limited supply of face masks, including N95 and KN95 masks, will be available at the AAR & SBL registration desk and information desks.
