As the learned society representing the most comprehensive membership in the field of the study of religion, the American Academy of Religion sponsors a variety of services that assist individuals and institutions in the employment process.

Job Postings
     Job Postings is the most comprehensive public record of job listings for credentialed scholars in religion. It is available online and free to individual members of the AAR. Anyone, regardless of membership status, can advertise in Job Postings.
 
Annual Meeting Job Center
     Held every year at the Annual Meeting, the Job Center provides services designed to facilitate communication between hiring institutions and job candidates. The Job Center features job listings, candidate credentials for review, a message center, and an interview facility.
 
Employment Trends
     The AAR conducts surveys to track hiring trends in the field of religion. Results are updated annually.

     Career Services periodically compiles articles and links to information that may be helpful to you in your job search.
