Nominations Committee

Charge:  The Nominations Committee selects and presents the slate of candidates for elective office in the Academy, including: vice president, secretary, and student member of the board. The vice president runs unopposed for president-elect and president in successive years. The committee solicits nominations from the membership at large. The criteria for nomination include distinction in scholarship and service to the Academy. The committee may also recommend to the Board policies and procedures concerning elections to leadership positions.

Composition:  Five members, one of whom is the immediate past president.

Terms of Office:  Three years, renewable once, with the exception of the immediate past president, who serves only one year.
