International Dissertation Research Grants:
New Program for Students
The Academy is pleased to announce the inauguration of a new program designed to support our interest in international connections and to serve the needs of our student members. Beginning in the spring of 2010, the AAR will award two International Dissertation Research Grants annually. Each grant of $5,000 will help cover expenses related to doing dissertation research abroad. Only student members of the AAR who are at the “ABD” stage of their studies will be eligible to apply. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis by a panel of senior AAR members selected by the AAR President.
